Ruth Sachse & Klara Sachse, June 2014

Welcome to Sachse & Jung

Sachse & Jung is a consulting company that provides hotels, finance and other industries with art concepts and the management of art investments. We do not only create the individual concept in collaboration with local and international artists, we also do the entire project management and steer the process until every art piece is at it’s place. We are art experts with a sense for quality, design and good investments.

Art for hotels and travelers

Art changes the energy and quality of space. In the past 11 years we have provided several european hotels of different categories – from 5 star to small boutique – with an exceptional and individual art concept. Confronting and inspiring for travelers and staff equally. See our reference projects below.

Art communicates with people

And people communicate through art. Art empowers companies to lift up to a new level of communication in their office spaces. Art disturbs, art activates “out-of-the-box” attitudes, art is beautiful, art is enrichment.

Private or corporate art collections

Shareholders of corporate buildings & office spaces have build up their art collection as an investment together with Sachse & Jung. We empower them to assemble equally inspiring and value-increasing art pieces for their collection.

Interconti Davos
Intercontinental Hotel, Davos/Switzerland
Sachse & Jung has developed a special art concept for the Intercontinental Davos on behalf of Credit Suisse’s Real Estate Asset Management:

With Florian Borkenhagen, Peter Riek and Simon Waßermann, it presents three contemporary artists, whose interest it is to live up to this special location. All three react to the tangible phenomena of this Alpine region, to flora and fauna, to language and culture, to Davos’ history, to objects and life forms and not least, of course, to the exceptional futuristic hotel façade. Borkenhagen, Waßermann and Riek relate many-faceted personal experiences to this place.
What is shown here are items and memories of the familiar and of what is yet to be discovered, such as the gentian or the sleigh rides, such as mountain hikes or serendipitous milestones.
The artists have on the one hand brought together what they have found to archetypes and catchy stylisations, on the other hand transformed this to playful-comical or exciting-enigmatic combinations.

The graphic and sculptural forms in their pensive tacitness or cheerful voice extend across the entire building and are found in rooms and corridors, restaurants and halls, suites and clubs, adding a poetic dimension to the hotel’s air.

The collection lends this location a distinctive profile and provides the art with space.

The title of the art collection is Deep Alpine Space.
